Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Privacy Prime ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. License to Use

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Privacy Prime on your Android device(s) for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App or its source code
• Reverse-engineer or decompile the App (except as permitted by applicable law)
• Use the App to violate any applicable law or regulation
• Attempt to circumvent security measures or access features you have not purchased

3. In-App Purchases

Privacy Prime offers one-time in-app purchases (Standard and Pro tiers) processed by Google Play Billing. All purchases are subject to Google Play's terms of service and refund policy.

Purchased licenses are tied to your Google Play account and can be restored on any device using the same account. We do not issue refunds outside of Google Play's standard refund window.

The Pro tier requires a rooted Android device. We do not guarantee compatibility with all root implementations, custom ROMs, or future Android updates.

4. Root Access & Magisk Module (Pro Tier)

The Pro tier and its companion Magisk module interact with your device at a low level (root shell, system properties, hardware abstraction layer). By using Pro features you acknowledge:

• Root access voids most device warranties
• Incorrect use of root features can render a device inoperable (though Privacy Prime does not modify system files permanently)
• We are not responsible for damage caused by incompatible root implementations or third-party Magisk modules

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure, or that it will detect or block every privacy threat on every device.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Privacy Prime and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the App, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

7. Device Admin & Device Owner

The Standard tier may request Device Admin or Device Owner privileges for camera blocking on Android 9+. Granting these privileges is entirely your choice. Revoking Device Admin is done via your device's security settings. We do not use Device Admin for any purpose other than camera blocking.

8. Changes to the App and Terms

We reserve the right to modify the App or these Terms at any time. Material changes to the Terms will be communicated via an updated "Last updated" date on this page at privacyprime.tech/terms.html. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer operates.
